Sectra Breast Imaging PACS has a modular architecture which means a department can start on a small scale with one workstation and gradually evolve into a completely film and paper-free facility. Sectra Breast Imaging PACS gives you all the functionality you expect from a full-scale PACS. It also offers a seamless upgrade to any size.
We chosed the Sectra Breast Imaging PACS because it provided unique functionality not available with other solutions we considered. the principal requirement was that it could also seamlessly be used to report other modalities in our department, in particular CT and MRI, and digital radiography. The Sectra team met the required criteria, and provided us with a tailored solution that will provide us with the greatest flexibility. Should we wish to expand to a Sectra-based department-wide PACS, we can do so by adding further Sectra workstations.
