The IT and medical-technology company Sectra has signed a distribution agreement with the Italian company Andra S.p.A., a provider of medical-radiology products. Andra has a large customer base throughout the diagnostic-imaging and medical IT market and will serve as a partner in distributing Sectra PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) in Italy.
"Andra is a perfect partner in distribution of our PACS products since they have a very well established and highly respected position in Italy as well as a network of local agents that is very important in the Italian radiology market," says Torbjörn Kronander, President at Sectra Imtec AB.
With a population of 58 million, Italy is a large healthcare market. In order to increase efficiency, healthcare providers' need to digitize their medical-imaging departments is growing.
"Sectra is highly appreciated by customers all over the world and has an ideal combination of key concepts such as quality and innovation combined with dedication to user's needs," says Mr. Vittorio Pirera, President of Andra S.p.A. "Sectra's well-regarded products and services will now be offered by Andra to its customer base."
